»»Don't just go to class, make the most of your college experience! RUSH SIGMA PI.

Rush is the process where men become interested in joining a fraternity. Rush starts at Rush week and ends on Bid day, which is the time where you find out if you've been accepted to join the fraternity.

We recommend that perspective rushees stop by the Sigma Pi house at least twice a week during rush, definitely coming by on Tuesdays and Fridays (Sorority meetings, bar nights, cigar nights, bowling, parties). Bids (invitations from the chapter to perspectives to become a pledge) are given out on Tuesdays during our Cigar Night. Free food will be served each day and various activities will be taking place at the chapter house. At this time you can meet all the brothers, take a tour of the house and see what Sigma Pi has to offer you. Don't hesitate to call, we'll pick you up! If you need a ride.

The Sigma Pi Fraternity house is located at 630 Virginia Park St. just about one mile from the main campus.

Why Rush?

»»Becoming Greek is a very big decision that will affect someone for the rest of their lives. It takes a strong minded and determined man to go Greek. There are also many advantages to being a Sigma Pi. Besides having a great system of friends, excellent scholastic resources, learning valuable leadership skills, and becoming more involved in campus activities, Sigma Pi is also about a true bond of brotherhood with more than 80000 fellow Sigma Pis across the United States and Canada. Please continue reading to find out more about the benefits of rushing Sigma Pi.

As a member of Sigma Pi, you will form friendships unlike any found in other organizations. Only the fraternity atmosphere can foster such a close bond of friendship and brotherhood. Here you will meet brothers who grow to become your closest friends, those who will cheer you on when you're successful and who will support you when the going gets tough. The ideal of brotherhood is the principal foundation upon which Sigma Pi is built. And it's here that you'll find brothers that will be there for you no matter what.
Throughout the year, Sigma Pi participates in many social events such as Warrior Homecoming, Welcome Back Week, pre-game tailgates, dinner dances, mixers, backyard barbecues, Greek Week, and special formals. These events offer you a good time and a great opportunity to meet and interact with members of campus sororities and organizations.
